The dawn of the infant. The time of the unknown. The wonderous moments of awe that come from unexpected sounds and expressions. The most remarkable time of development is during infancy. In our infant classes we place great focus on our infants' social development, while taking care of their physical needs, such as feeding and diapering.
The time of the conqueror. The moments of exploration that keep us on our toes. Our toddler teachers focus on aiding our toddlers in exploring their curiosity, all the while ensuring they achieve their developmental milestones.
The adventures of the two-year old. These moments in you and your child's life will prove to be both rewarding and challenging. As your child comes into his/her personality with all the energy of a two-year old at his/her disposal, our teachers work to channel your two-year old's energy into furthering their social and intellectual development.
The time of the observer. The three-year old. The do as I see. During this stage of development structure becomes more of a priority. Our teachers focus on providing more teacher-led instructional time to ensure our great observers are prepared to become even greater leaders in the years to follow.
Our schools in Georgia offer state sponsored Pre-Kindergarten programs for children that are four years of age by September 1st of the current school year. To participate in this program, we must continously meet rigorous standards. Our teachers hold Master Degrees in Early Childhood Education or Development and Georgia Teaching Certificates. The program is free to parents.
Do you have a four year old that doesn't meet age eligibility requirements to participate in a GA Pre-K class? No worries! Explore one of our Private Pre-K classes. Our Private Pre-K classes offer similar lessons as our GA Pre-K classes and follow a similar classroom structure but without the age restriction of GA Pre-K.
Is your work schedule conflicting with your child's school schedule? We are the solution you've been seeking. School children ages 5 to 12 can enjoy their time out of school at our centers. We offer before- and after-care for those parents that need to drop off their school-ager in the early morning for a nutritious breakfast and to be transported to school by our experienced bus drivers. In the afternoon, our experienced bus drivers transport our school age children from their schools back to our centers where they'll enjoy homework assistance, recreational time, learn life skills, and receive supper.
Sprout is our STEAM based summer camp experience for preschool and school age children. Last camp our campers designed and built their very own vegetable gardens, constructed rockets, participated in choreographed urban dance and collected gently used sneakers to distribute to the disenfranchised, among many other thought-provoking and socially conscious activities.
Private pay and CAPS accepted. Also, in-house scholarships may be available.
"As a working parent, I find great comfort in knowing that the staff at The Magnolia School is committed to the safety and development of my children. The fact that they notify me about all matters involving my children is reassuring." M.P.
"I want to thank the staff for not just saying they care about my children but for showing me and their father that they care for our children as much as we do. If I can help it my children won't attend any other school but a Magnolia school." Z.C.
We’ll start with an honest chat with you to understand your child and their needs. Here we’ll highlight what makes your child unique, and define the best path to support your child's development.
Together, we’ll select the best class for your child based on their age, personality, learning style and development stage.
Regularly scheduled classroom observations are performed by our directors and regional directors to ensure that the developmental needs of our children are being met.
